D. Bars, MD graduated from Medicine from the Federal University in Santa Catarina, Brazil in the year 1983. Here are a few of his many known credentials:
Master’s degree in Geriatrics and Gerontology from the Pontificia Catholic University of Río Grande do Sul, Brazil 1991.
Master’s degree in Nutrition by the Brazilian Society of Nutrition. São Paulo, Brazil, 1993.

Scientific Director of Medical Research Institute for Degenerative and Autoimmune Diseases. Paraguay 2011-2018.

Dr. Bars has also been a guest speaker during several conferences that research stem cell therapy and how they help degenerative, autoimmune diseases and new ways to address cancer.

What do you like doing in your spare time? “I like studying technical books, also read and watch about the second world war history and gardening.”
Essaú, MD, was a physical therapist while studying medicine. He graduated from the University of Guadalajara with postgraduate in family medicine, family therapy, regenerative medicine, and bioidentical hormone therapy. Currently, he is certified in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support), and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support).
How do you think your fellow team members see you? “In the beginning, I think they are afraid, but with time, people feel more comfortable. I believe that the key to success with human relationships is showing respect to others and oneself.”
Do you like what you do? “Absolutely! I believe I was a Doctor in another life. I enjoy knowing that my work improves the lives of others.”
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? “When I can raise awareness with a patient and they make changes in their habits to stay healthy and when they prove to themselves the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.”
What do you like doing in your spare time? “Rest and enjoy my pets at home. I love cooking new things and try to make restaurant recipes based on how they taste. I love watching movies and having people over. (Someone has to eat my kitchen experiments! LOL) You can’t put a price tag to an evening with good friends!”

Juan Ortega is a man of core values and interests rooted in the human potential for natural healing, art, classical music, and nature. He forms a part of the Holistic Bio Spa family because he loves to help people be the healthiest, most beautiful version of themselves with natural and holistic methods.
Co-founder, Public Relations & Health Coach
Described as “the heart of the Holistic Bio Spa”, Alicia co-founded our company with Dr. Zoli and she is the Head of Public Relations. She fulfills a leading role in how we care for and pamper our guests on their healing journey. She is known for always going above and beyond to make sure you are happy, at peace, and comfortable at all times.
Coming from a line of healers, her mother, Elisa Partida, was a Sobadora (a Mexican old traditional hands-on healer) and herbalist gardener and chef. Her mother passed on her skills to all the women of Alicia’s family.
She took up studying about natural healing in her teens and has not stopped since. She has worked closely with and studied after Stanley Weinberger (author of Healing Within) and Dr. Elson Haas (owner and director of the Preventive Medical Center of Marin in San Rafael, CA), a pioneer in holistic practices and health education. She was also the co-owner of an all-women’s fitness center in San Anselmo, California.
She stays on top of what’s new in the wellness industry with her sister, Liliana Partida C.N. who works at the Center for New Medicine in Irvine, California with owner and director, Dr. Leigh Erin Connealy M.D. (author of the Cancer Revolution).
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? “ I love helping people and inspiring them to be more proactive in their own health care seeing the positive results. ”
Where can we find you when you’re not working?“ Out in nature (one of my favorite spots: Vallarta Botanical Gardens) or at home cooking gourmet nutritional meals. ”
What would you sing at Karaoke night? “ Alicia Keys – This girl is on fire.”
When are you the happiest? “ All the time.”
Health Care Administration
For 13 years, Regina worked in the Finance Division of R4 Data Center in Brazil. She has acquired academic training as a Master of Business in Healthcare Administration. She has also worked for Renassence, a clinic in Brazil for 12 years in the administration department.
How do you think the members of your team see you? “As a person who can help the whole team with the day’s labor. ”

What do you like doing in your spare time? “I like reading the Bible.”

Alejandra loves using her abilities as a nurse to be able to help others feel better.
How do you think your fellow team members see you? “As a very sociable and friendly person. These personality traits help me to bond with patients and give them more personalized attention.”
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? “To see my patients get better and go back home with a smile on their face.”
What do you like doing in your spare time? “Going to the beach with my kids and my husband. I also love traveling, going to the movies, and listening to music.”

Certified Registered Nurse
Oscar studied at the Intercontinental Technological University of Paraguay. He worked in a private clinic in Paraguay (Medical Research Center) for 6 years. Throughout the years, he has acquired experience in Regenerative Medicine. He has taken different courses on laser therapy, advanced courses on PRP (Platelet-rich plasma), ozone therapy, hyperbaric chamber, and stem cell therapy.
Do you like what you do? “ Yes, I love what I do. And I always try to do things the best way possible!”
How do you think your fellow team members see you? “Ever since I got here, they’ve treated me as part of the holistic team, that makes me feel very good.”
What do you like doing in your spare time? “I enjoy watching documentaries and listening to music.”
Aaron chose to become a nurse because his mom is a nurse too, and seeing her example inspired him to want to help others also.

He was proudly born and raised in Nuevo León, located in the Northeast part of Mexico, where they like to be disciplined, hard-working people. He went to the State public University UANL, where he graduated from High School as a nurse technician (US & Canada equivalent to Certified Nurse Assistant or CNA) and then got my Nursing bachelor’s degree (US & Canada equivalent to Registered Nurse or RN).
David has been working as a healthcare professional since 2010 with expertise in private and public practice hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. However, he still pushes himself to keep updated and studying because no matter how young or old you are you will always learn new things resulting in benefits for the patients, by doing this he will have the satisfaction of providing the best quality care for someone in need or sick additionally contributing to his biggest goal in life, being happy.

Licensed and Certified Massage Therapist
Megan is an experienced and certified massage therapist. She specializes in deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, therapeutic massage, hot stone massage, reflexology, and many other holistic techniques.
Do you like what you do? “I love what I do because it’s a peaceful environment and it contributes to the wellbeing of others.”
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? “Seeing patients happy after receiving their treatments and how they benefit from them.”
What do you like doing in your spare time? “I enjoy spending time with Friends, my family, and my pets. I also love reading, painting, traveling, and photography.”
Pablo became familiar with gastronomy at the age of 15 in the institute ISIMA. Later on, he got a higher technician diploma and a degree in gastronomy at the Technological University of Bahia de Banderas. Throughout time he developed different skills and experience working with different companies. He is also acquainted with European, Oriental and Mexican food, gourmet cuisine, winemaking and nutrition.
How do you think your fellow team members see you? “I feel they see me as part of the high-performance team.”
What would you sing at Karaoke night? “Metallica! I love their music.”
Do you like what you do? “Absolutely! I love gastronomy.”
Ana is the link between the outside world and the administrative aspects of the Holistic Bio Spa. She thrives on anything related to organization and finances.
She helps care for our patients and guides them through their appointment scheduling and payment plans.
What is one thing that would be impossible for you to give up? “To give my kids a good education.”
What would you sing at Karaoke night? “First, classic ranchera songs like Las Jilguerillas, Mercedes Castro, Rocio Durcal. Then, maybe some pop from my days: Menudo, Timbiriche, Flans, Gloria Trevi.”
Where can we find you when you’re not working? “At the beach, at the movies, or anywhere else enjoying the day with my family.”
Natan’s role touches everything about the perfect patient experience. From communications, scheduling, inventory, and comforts, he is the go-to guy for many of our team to get whatever they need to make our guests happy while they heal.
What do you like about working at Holistic Bio Spa?
“The sense of teamwork and collaboration that help move our company forward. Being a member of that team and contributing to its success is important to me. Communication, discipline, and teamwork is what I ask from those I value most: my coworkers.”
What is one thing that you would be unable to give up?
“The love for my children and family. No matter how far or near, it’s a constant.”

“I can be found spending some me time in front of the computer or with my love at the movies or watching a good TV series.”
